Meet Erik and Amerins.
From Groningen to Puglia
Hi! We are Erik and Amerins, and together with our cats we moved from Groningen in the Netherlands to Puglia. For as long as we have known each other, we dreamed of living in Italy. Every year we went there on holiday, each time to a different region.
In 2017 we had our first taste of Puglia. From the wines and the orecchiette to the fish dishes and the braciole: our love for Puglia went through the stomach. We fell in love instantly. Add the warm people, the lively towns and the wonderful beaches, and we cannot think of a nicer place in Italy.
A holiday home next to ours
Our dream of emigrating came together with the dream of sharing this region with others. So there had to be a holiday home, in the quiet and friendly countryside of Francavilla Fontana, with Puglian towns such as Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni, Martina Franca and Lecce around the corner.
After years of searching, we found our home in 2025 and had the chance to buy the house next door as well. In October 2026 we started renovating, with this lovely holiday home as the result. You can read more about our adventure on our Instagram account.
At home as a lover of the good life
We want to give you a pleasant base where you feel completely at home if you love good food and good company: a self-contained holiday home with the luxurious feel of a boutique stay. A place to unwind, but also to seek out the bustle of the city. And who knows, you may fall in love with Puglia just as we did.
